Red Ribbon Week

Mrs.Rink brings her super dog to kick off the drug free assembly to celebrate how many minutes the school read even though we did not read exactly100,000 minutes.

Keith Davis and his friend Joshua came to the red ribbon assembly to tell us about being drug free and saying no to drugs. They talked about effort, education, and excellence.

Look at me I'm Drug Free

Some kids are wearing sun glasses to shade out drugs because they are not good for you.

Hunting our Drug Free students
Some people wore camouflage in support of drug free week.

Almost everyone is wearing crazy colorful socks to celebrate drug free week.

Sock it to drugs!

We are crazy about being drug free
To end Red Ribbon week we all wear our crazy hats. It was a great way to end the wonderful week.

Candy Bar Experiment! YUM

In science we where doing some science experiments, and one of them is the candy bar experiment. Well, the way we did the experiment was we took some mini candy bars, some clear cups, and some great observations! The candy bar experiment was so fun we had to observe if the candy bars will sink or float. Last, but not least we put our things away and cleaned up getting ready for another great science experiment!!! Written by: Virginia

Skating 101

They kids started the year off in PE with learning how to skate. They had such a great time.

People had fun going down the mat ramp for the first time.

Everyone is prepared for skating with their pads and helmet on so it won't hurt when they fall.
All the kids love the new ramp. Everyone had a chance to go down it. Some kids had a hard time, but everyone had fun.

People gather around for their picture to be taken while waiting in line for their turn to go down the ramp.

People are trying to skate down the wooden ramp instead of a mat. Some people thought It was hard because it was wood but others did not.

A lot of happy faces gather around the camera after a busy day of skating during P.E.
